Infinix has released the Hot 6X Pro with a slew of exciting features as an upgrade to the Hot 6X. It comes with the notch display and offers bigger RAM and storage capacity.
The smartphone will hit stores very soon with the AI-powered dual rear camera set-up, Infinix has confirmed. In today’s review, we will highlight the full specs and features of this mobile device and its price.

Design and Display
Weighing 150g (5.29 oz), this phone’s build is made of plastic, which is polished to give it a sleek design. Just like its predecessor, the handset is quite slim with a dimension of 156.7mm by 75.3mm by 8.3 mm. Infinix Hot 6X Pro will be offered in a range of colours, such as red, purple, black, blue, and gold. It is not water-proof and sports no secondary display.
It offers 6.2-inch display along with HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. With 16 million colours and 267 PPI pixel density, the mobile device will bring premium viewing experience at an affordable price. Its resolution, aspect ratio, and screen to body ratio are pegged at 720 by 1500 pixels, 19:9, and 87% respectively. Its protection features are scratch-resistant glass, multi-touch, 2.5D curved glass, scratch resistant, and Dragontrail glass.
Hardware and Software
The hardware components powering this device comprise Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 MSM8917 chipset with process technology 28 nm; a 64-bit Quad-core CPU that clocks at 1.4 GHz; and Adreno 308 GPU with 2 Cores. These work in conjunction with 3GB RAM (non-expandable) and 32GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB by using a microSD card). The Hot 6X Pro features Android v8.1 Oreo with a UI of XOS 3.3.
Camera and Battery
If you take a look at the rear section of this phone, you will be greeted by a dual camera setup which contains 13 MP and 2 MP shooters. Starting with the advanced capability, AI portrait, these lenses offer a number of other features, including f/2.0 aperture, Quad-LED flash, FHD recording, continuous shooting, auto-focus, panorama, digital zoom, face detection, geo-tagging, self-timer, scene mode, HDR, and others. It offers an 8-MP front-facing selfie camera which has f/2.0 aperture and no front flash.
The Hot 6X Pro packs a Li-Po 4000-mAh non-removable battery that has a standby time of up to 600 hours, talk time of up to 26 hours, and allows music play up to 32 hours. But it has no support for wireless or fast charging.
Network and Connectivity
Infinix Hot 6X Pro has support for 2G, 3G, and 4G internet connectivity, enabling the device to be compatible with GSM, WCDMA, HSDPA as well as LTE. As stated earlier, the phone allows dual Nano SIM cards, which can be housed in two slots within it.
