Infinix Note 4 / Note 4 Pro Specs & Price in Nigeria, Kenya

Infinix Note 4/ Note 4 Pro (X572) was unveiled last year by Infinix Mobility. The two smartphones are the successors to the Infinix Note 3 and Note 3 Pro and they come with improved hardware, software and better design. They both feature Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with latest Infinix Chameleon XOS V2.2 on top.

Infinix Note 4 Key Specs

  • 5.7-inch IPS Display, 1080 x 1920 pixels (386ppi)
  • 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 MT6753 CPU with 2GB/3GB RAM
  • Android 7.0 (Nougat)
  • 16GB / 32GB Storage with support for memory card up to 128GB
  • 13MP Rear Camera and 8MP Front Camera
  • 4G LTE Data
  • Fingerprint Sensor (Front)
  • 4300 mAh Battery with Fast Charging

Design and Display

Both the Note 4 and Note 4 Pro boast a 5.7-inch full HD screen with 2.5D curved glass display. Compared to the previous Infinix Note 3 which has a 6.0-inch FHD display, the Infinix Note 4 display has more screen to body ratio and the bezel is reduced as well.

The devices were rumoured to be protected with Corny Gorilla Glass 4 but it turned out that both devices do not have any form of protection except the 2.5D front glass which gives both devices an appealing an premium look.

Infinix Note 4 Pro

The design borrows some elements from Samsung design at the back and the fingerprint scanner which is located at the front as well. This is the first time Infinix is placing the fingerprint scanner at the front which also doubles as the home button.

Also the Infinix Note 4 Pro has an Xpen that accompanies the device, making the Note 4 Pro Infinix’s first Note smartphone with a touch pen.

This innovation is however not new as Samsung Note Series are popular with the innovative S-pen. I don’t have a problem with brand copying each other, but if you must copy, copy the good features and implement it well, don’t copy the Siri. Lol

Software and Performance

On the performance side of thing, the Infinix Note 4  is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor paired with MALI-T720 MP3 450MHz GPU. It has 2GB of  RAM while the Note 4 Pro has 3GB of RAM. The Internal storage is pegged at 16GB and 32GB for the Pro variant. There is an option for expansion to 128GB via a MicroSDcard.

Camera and Battery Capacity

On the camera department, they both pack 13MP rear camera with LED flash, Phase Detection Autofocus. My guess was quite right as the Infinix Note 4 sports an 8MP front selfies shooter as rumoured.

This is another area, the Note 4 and Note 4 Pro may have disappointed many people as the Note 4 battery capacity has reduced to 4300mAh. I however believe Infinix might have sacrificed the battery for a more compact and premium design. The previous Infinix Note 3 is equipped with 4500mAh  same as the Note 4 Pro. It supports the new fast-charge called Xcharge by Infinix.

  1. Also,
My note 4 had been acting up a lot lately…the battery would die out at 15%, and eventually at 40%, it was so frustrating. I took it to the Samsung counter at Best Buy, the guy said the problem would be fixed with a new battery…there are so many options…and mixed reviews, on here, so I was skeptical to buy this one…but after much wavering…I purchased it. My phone is now workin PERFECTLY. It…dies out at 0%, as it should….one charge will last all day. Dont remember what it was when the phone was new…..but let’s face it, is not new anymore…so I am very happy with my purchase…I did follow some instructions from someone else who left a review…they said it was very important to calibrate the battery when you receive it…he said to charge the battery fully out of the box…then use it on the phone…and let it die…on its own…no charging it at 10%…let it die out till it powers off on its own….then charge it again…to 100%…and do the same…after this, it’s now calibrated…don’t know if it’s true or not…I did it and it has worked since…I also NOW only charge it when the phone prompts me…before I used o plug it to a charger…all the time even at 80%, which now I see how it drains the battery life much faster…I am happy with my purchase…and I’m glad I followed the directions.

    • Nice article bro but the way infinix are releasing phone in quick succession is not fancied by most fans. It makes the slightly older devices look very much outdated. >>>SpecNG Blog
