Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is Bezel-less with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625


Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is definitely one of the most anticipated mid-range Android smartphones. Its predecessor, the Redmi Note 4 received lots of positive reviews and fans can’t wait to see what the Redmi Note 5 will look like.

Although details of the Redmi Note 5 has been a little sketchy, as Xiaomi hasn’t released the device full specs. According to a photo shared on China’s Weibo, the Redmi Note 5 sports a 5.99-inch HD bezel-less display. It has a screen resolution of 2160×1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio.

In the trending photo, we can also see that the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. Which is a very fast chipset for a midrange smartphone, the Redmi Note from will definitely be a beauty.

In terms of storage, it packs 64GB storage space and runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS. The RAM size is still unclear at the stage, but we are guessing it won’t be more than 4GB. Powering the Redmi Note 5 is a massive 4000mAh battery.

Yes, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is bezel-less, but the trending dual rear cameras aren’t coming anytime soon in the series. The smartphone sports a single 12MP camera for photography. We have no idea when Xiaomi will introduce or launch the Redmi Note 5. But going with the leaked specs, it should be expensive compared to the Redmi Note 4.
