The Ulefone Power 5 was unveiled at the 2018 Mobile World Congress alongside the T2 Pro. The smartphone focuses on battery just like other smartphones from Ulefone’s Power series. The phone is a rugged smartphone unlike what we typically see from the Power series. The Power 5 is like a combination of Ulefone’s Armor x Power series.
It houses the MediaTek Helio P70 processor internally with an octa-core processor. Ulefone Power 5 is a rugged and durable smartphone offering water and scratch resistant. It has a Metal + Polycarbonate overall body, sitting side by side the camera is a dual-LED flash. While underneath the camera is a fingerprint scanner, all of the rear features are on top the Metal foundation.
It has no 3.5mm jack anywhere on the body, the USB charging port is at the bottom with dual speakers sitting side by side. Moving further to the screen now, it’s bezel-less with no top-notch, unlike the T2 Pro. We have to give it to Ulefone though, it’s not easy making a bezel-less rugged smartphone. Even though it’s bulky to the sides, but at least it’s solid as well.
Not much is known about the internal capability yet, but it’s expected to pack 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Power 5 should be available for sale from April and packs a massive 13000mAh battery as its highlight. Look on the bright side though, it has more battery capacity than Leagoo Power 5. Nonetheless, we will keep an eye out for the Ulefone Power 5 for a full detailed specs review.
