The Elephone A4 has been launched by the company as a bezel-less beauty with the popular notch at the top. This is coming after the Elephone S9 was introduced a couple of months ago as a Galaxy S9 clone.

Now the company have released their iPhone X-like clone with code name A4. However, the smartphone will not be as expensive as the aforementioned though. Boasting of 3GB RAM, 16GB Storage and running on Android 8.1 Oreo. Let’s see what else the Elephone A4 has to offer.

Elephone A4 Key Specs and Features

・5.85-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 1440 x 720 pixels
・Android 8.1 Oreo with 3GB RAM
・Quad-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6739

The vertical alignment of the rear camera and LED flash adds to the beauty as well. The Elephone logo is also seen at the bottom left corner. Measuring 7.8 mm in thickness and weighing 164g overall, it’s available in only Gold and Black colours as well.

DISPLAY

The notch display has been one of the most trendy features this year in terms of design and Elephone didn’t want to be left out. The stretches all the way to the extreme top and has a notch that houses the selfie camera and other features.

However, there’s still a visible amount of bezel at the bottom corner. The 5.85-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is still better than most screen on a budget device. Boasting of 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution with 282 pixels per inch density.

HARDWARE and SOFTWARE

Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6739 with 4-cores processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The quad-core processor on this beauty reaches a clock speed of 1.5GHz with 28nm process technology. Handling graphics is the PowerVR GE8100 GPU.

Multitasking apps and games shouldn’t be a problem with 3GB RAM available and a memory speed of 667MHz. Internally, 16GB storage space is available to store all your files and games. You can always upgrade up to 256GB anytime you want with a memory card. The Elephone A4 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

CAMERA

The 8MP rear camera from Samsung has f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, capturing beautiful and stunning images. While the 5MP front-facing selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture and comes with a LED flash as well. With the LED flash, you can capture selfies and make video calls in extremely dark places.

BATTERY

The Elephone A4 is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology.
