The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Lite were seen hanging out in the wild. Galaxy smartphones are known to appear in groups when it comes to leaks, they were seen alongside the Galaxy A6 Plus 2018. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Lite sports a very unique dual camera set-up, something we haven’t seen on a Galaxy smartphone before.
The dual cameras appear at the top left corner in a vertical position, with the LED flash coming underneath. A huge let down is the fingerprint scanner, which has been moved upwards in a-not-so flattering position. Turning over to the front, there’s still no notch here, it’s obvious Samsung isn’t bothered about the trending notched screen. The screen dishes out the standard 18:9 aspect ratio full view display.
The photographs also revealed the speaker grille at the top bezel, with the selfie camera and front LED flash. The A9 Star will be available in Black and White colours, other colours might be released as well. While the A9 Lite will come in Black, Gray and Blue colours.
We recently saw the Galaxy A9 duo on Samsung Vietnam, well the Chinese version. The Galaxy A9 Star will be available first in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Cambodia. The specs are quite blurry at the moment, but it should bring more features than the Galaxy A8 (2018).
