Although it doesn’t come with the Face ID feature which we saw on the Infie 33. However, it sports the 18:9 aspect ratio screen and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition. Without further ado, let’s meet the Infie 3.
Intex Infie 3 Key Specs and Features

・Quad-core 1.1GHz MediaTek MT6737

Design and Display
It has almost similar aesthetics with the Infie 3 even though the rear features are in different locations. The Plastic body has curved edges and sides for a perfect grip, the Intex logo is at its usual position.
Above the Intex logo, we can see the single camera and LED flash vertically placed on a foundation. It’s quite bulky by the sides, measuring about 10.2mm in thickness and weighing 140g overall. It’s available in Gray, Blue and Gold.
The Infie 3 is one of the cheapest smartphones with 18:9 aspect ratio screen in India. Intex really reduced the bezels on the device to give those on a budget the full-screen experience. You will also get taller visuals in landscape mode.
It sports a portable 4.95-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which boasts 480 x 960 pixels in resolution and 217 pixels per inch density for standard visuals. Even with the reduction of bezels, the screen could only get up to 68.35% screen to body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, you get the MediaTek MT6737 chip with its 28nm manufacturing process. It comes with a 4-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.1GHz. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-720 MP2 takes charge.
Like we saw on the Infie 33, it has just 1GB RAM for light multitasking. The RAM boasts 533MHz in memory speed. In the storage department, you get the standard 8GB storage space and a slot to upgrade up to 32GB. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition.
Intex Infie 3 Camera
For photography, there’s a 5MP shooter at the back, this comes with LED flash and other internal features. While for selfies, there’s a 2MP selfie camera with its dedicated flash.
Connectivity, Battery and Availability
Even though it’s a budget smartphone, it supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB port, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.
The Intex Infie 3 is powered by a removable Li-Ion 2000mAh battery with no fast charging technology. Intex Infie 3 will be available on shopping stores, starting from $59 to $79, that’s about (N20,000 – N25,000).
