Sharp B10 was recently launched alongside the Aquos C10 we reviewed earlier. The device was introduced in Germany and the first buyers will be getting a free 24-inch TV.

Flowing with the current trend, the device dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. There’s 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space making it a budget smartphone as well. Let’s meet the B10.

Design and Display

Let’s just say Plastic met Metal on the B10, the combination of both elements gave birth to this mid-range smartphone. The Plastic back sports dual antenna lines which makes the device attractive and interesting.

While the dual cameras are seen at the top left corner in a horizontal position with the LED flash sitting right beside it. The fingerprint scanner is also ready to unlock the device quickly. It measures 8.8mm in thickness and weighs 175g overall, it was launched in Black.

Sharp B10

This latest mid-range smartphone from Sharp has the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio screen. With this, you can literally expand your horizons while watching movies or playing games.

You get a taller 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. This has 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution and 282 pixels per inch density for clear vision. It stretches up to 76.72% screen to body ratio offering more screen than bezels.

Hardware and Software

Sharp adopted the popular MediaTek MT6750T mid-range chipset for the B10. The chip was built on a 28nm process technology and comes with an octa-core processor clocking at 1.5GHz as well. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor comes with 2-Cores and clocks at 650MHz.

You get the standard 3GB of RAM here for multitasking, this lets you multitask through light apps easily. It reaches a memory speed of 833MHz as well. While the storage space is pegged at 32GB and expandable up to 128GB. It runs on an older Android 7.1.2 Nougat.

Sharp B10 Camera

There’s a horizontally placed dual rear 13MP + 5MP shooters at the rear which has f/2.0 aperture for photography. While the 8MP selfie camera has f/2.2 aperture and a dedicated front flash.

Connectivity, Battery and Availability

The B10 supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB port, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.

The Sharp B10 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3840mAh battery with fast charging technology. Sharp B10 will be available on shopping stores, starting from $349 to $399, that’s about (N120,000 – N140,000).
