Samsung has finally laid to rest leaks and rumours flying abroad about its intention to launch a budget-friendly Android device, as it officially unveiled the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core in India today. Samsung Galaxy J2 Core Specs Review
The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core features a 5.0-inch TFT display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. As an Android Go device, the specs are rather uninteresting. It is powered by a Samsung’s own 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor paired with Mali-T720 MP1 GPU.
Design-wise, it measures 143.4 x 72.1 x 8.9mm in dimension is built using a polycarbonate material. Unfortunately, there is no Fingerprint scanner or FaceID, which are available on the Infinix Smart 2, TECNO Spark 2 and the itel P32.
The device is a dual sim enabled and runs Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition. Android Go is a streamlined version of Android Oreo that is optimized to run on a low-specced device, such as devices with 1GB RAM and 8GB of storage. Internally the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage which can be extended to 64GB via a MicroSD Card.n
In the Camera side of things, you get an 8-megapixel camera at the back with an F/2.2 while the front-facing camera is pegged at 5-megapixel with F/2.2. The device is powered by a 2600mAh battery. It accepts Bluetooth 4.2, 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-F and GPS
