Comio X1 Note is a Well-Built Affordable Device for the Indian Market

Comio X1 Note was introduced in India alongside the X1 we reviewed earlier. Just like the name suggests, the Note version is the bigger variant, coming with a big 6-inch FHD+ display.

Apart from the screen, the RAM and storage space has been expanded as well. It now has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space, furthermore, it sports dual rear camera as well.

Design And Display

The device was built mainly with Metal, unlike the X1 which has a Plastic back. This makes the X1 Note reflect light more beautifully and attracting compared to the X1.

At the top middle, we can see the rear features which includes the dual rear cameras. The cameras are vertical Inside a rounded foundation, with the fingerprint scanner coming underneath.

Turning to the front, the phone is ready to dish out the full view display. The screen stretches all the way to the sides making the narrow bezels non-existent. The top and bottom bezels are moderate as well. It sports a taller 6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 402 pixels per inch density for sharp visuals. The screen also stretches up to 75.3% screen-to-body ratio.

Hardware and Software

It’s powered by the MT8735A low-end chip from MediaTek. This comes with a quad-core processor clocking at a speed of 1.45GHz. Controlling graphics is the ARM Mali-T720 MP2.

As stated above, it comes with a bigger 3GB RAM space for multitasking through apps. While the storage department has been upgraded as well up to 32GB storage space compared to the Comio X1 with 16GB.  It can be extended up to 128GB via a MicroSdcard. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo as well.

Camera, Network And Connectivity

Comio brought on another 5MP shooter to complement the 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. This enables portrait features and background blur. While the usual 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and Face Unlock feature is present as well.

The Comio X1 Note supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs and a microSD card. It also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type C, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.

Battery, Price And Availability

The Comio X1 Note is powered by a non-removable 2900mAh battery with no fast charging technology. Comio X1 Note will be available on shopping stores, starting from $99 to $149, that’s about (N35,000 – N55,000).
