Vivo V11

Vivo V11 Pro has been launched in India as the upgraded variant of the V11. But specs-wise it’s still the same smartphone with some slight changes underneath.

It’s powered by the Snapdragon 660 chip from Qualcomm with an octa-core processor. There’s 6GB of RAM, 64GB storage space and an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.

The V11 Pro sports an aluminium alloy overall unibody that reflects light beautifully. The Gold colour option is what is being marketed by the company because of how gradient it looks. However, it’s also available in Black.

There’s no rear fingerprint scanner here as it has been moved to the front. At the top left corner, we can see Vivo V11 Prothe same dual rear camera we saw on the V11 in its usual position. The phone measures 7.89mm in thickness and weigh 156g overall.

Vivo isn’t new to the Water-Drop notched screen just like we saw on the V11, the company calls it “Halo FullView”. The Pro version also sports the selfie-notch and boasts of an in-display fingerprint scanner. Overall, the front is built around a 6.41-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 224 pixels per inch density for sharp visuals. The screen also stretches up to 85.35% screen-to-body ratio.

Hardware and Software

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 660 chip from Qualcomm does the job. The chip was built on a newer 14nm process technology with an 8-core processor that is clocked at a speed of 2.2GHz as well. This is aided with the Adreno 512 graphics processor

For multitasking, there’s the usual 6GB of RAM space available to handle all your heavy apps. While for storage, there’s a moderate 64GB internal storage space, although you can expand up to 256GB. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo as well.

The device sports a combination of 12MP + 5MP AI-powered dual shooters at the rear with f/2.2 aperture, based scene recognition, AI Backlight HDR, AI assistant, LED flash and other features. There’s a 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies.

The V11 Pro supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type C, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.
