Formerly called Big Brother Nigeria, Big Brother Naija is a 24/7 reality television show, which is designed based on the popular Big Brother TV series aired in the Netherlands. In the program, 12 contestants of different backgrounds live together in an isolated house and compete to claim the grand prize — a whopping 25 million naira — when the show comes to an end show. Big Brother Naija, the most popular reality TV show in Nigeria, took place from January 28 to April 22, and housemate Miracle came out victorious, defeating the other 19 contestants to win the grand prize of 25 million Naira.  The 5 finalists in the program were Miracle, Cee-C, Tobi, Alex, and Nina; each with 38.18%, 28.04%, 22-54%, 7.07% and 4. 18% votes respectively.
