If you’ve ever thought of using your face to control your smartphone then you would be happy to know that you can now do it, thanks to the Eva Facial Mouse. Eva Facial Mouse is an app developed by CREA, a company devoted to research and the development of innovative software features.
Eva Facial Mouse and How it Works
The app was developed for people with amputations, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or other disabilities which causes the inability to use one’s hand. However, the app can also be used for people who just don’t feel like using their hands at the moment.
EVA Facial Mouse is a free and open source application that allows the access to functions of your Smartphone by tracking the user’s face captured through the front-facing camera. Based on the movement of the face, the app allows the user to control a pointer on the screen, just like a mouse, which provides direct access to most elements of the user interface.
However, due to the restrictions of the Android platform, there are some limitations. For one, not all browsers work with this so it is recommended that you use Chrome Browsers. Also, while using the app, other apps that require the use of camera won’t work for obvious reasons.
How To download and Use Eva Facial Mouse

First things, you’ll need to download the Eva Facial Mouse from the Google Play Store. The app weighs just 20MB.
After downloading, Launch the app and accept all permissions request by the app then switch on accessibility.
