Honor 10 Lite Goes Official with Catchy Gradient Colors, Sub-$300 Price

Huawei has released the Honor 10 Lite today with a 6.21-inch display and Kirin 710 SoC that supports GPU Turbo 2.0. But the most significant feature of this new phone, the company says, is its fancy gradient back panel that comes in blue or red.

The Chinese consumer electronics giant established Honor as a phone brand, targeted at a growing mass of young smartphone users with massive online presence, and the Honor 10 Lite represents its latest attempt to appeal to this class of customers.

The mobile device shares a number of similarities with the Honor 8X: the 12nm SoC by HiSilicon, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 128GB of built-in storage; a 13-MP primary shooter, and a 2-MP secondary camera. However, one their major differences is the 24-MP selfie camera in this new release, which is capable of carrying out pixel-binning for emulating 1.8-µm pixel size and identifying a minimum of 8 different scenes.

It comes with 3,000-mAh non-removable battery as well as the latest EMUI 9, which is based on Android Pie. This implies there will be features such as Adaptive Battery, Android Dashboard, and Adaptive Brightness — all of which will be offered straight out of the box.

Huawei Honor 10 Lite comes in a number of beautiful colours, such as Midnight Black, Lily White, Gradient Red, and Gradient Blue. The mobile phone will have 3 versions: A 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant that is priced around 72500NGN ($200 or €175), a 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM unit that costs about 88,800NGN ($245 or €215), and a 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM whose price will be in the neighborhood of 99,700NGN ($275 or €240).

You can pre-order the phone now, and it will start shipping by tomorrow when it will also be available for offline stores.
