The RealMe 1 from Oppo is a reply to Xiaomi’s Redmi smartphone line targeted at the budget segment with a Budget-friendly price and impressive specifications. RealMe 1 has three variant, a 3GB RAM variant with 32GB of internal storage, a 4GB RAM with 64GB and lastly, a massive 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage.

All storage options can still be expanded further via the dedicated MicroSD card and still manage to fit under the 15,000 rupees budget. Other specifications of this device include a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, a 13MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP Selfie camera with f/2.0, a 3,400mAh and a Color OS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

After the success of RealMe 1 came RealMe 2 and 2 Pro, and while the Realme 2 was a total let down although packing impressive specs to justify the really low price, Realme 2 Pro on the other definitely did amaze me.

The 6.3-inch device comes with the powerful Snapdragon 660 chipset, 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of Internal storage. It also has a moderate 3,500mAh battery capacity with fast charging, dual 16MP + 2MP rear camera and a single 16MP Selfie camera all under 15,000 rupees.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is also another smartphone with enough value for the money. The smartphone manages to fit right under the budget here and while packing a whole of lot features. First off, it has a massive 5,00mAh battery capacity with 10W fast charging, a 5.99-inch notched 1080p display and the efficient Snapdragon 636 chipset.

The 3GB of RAM variant comes with 32GB of internal storage while the 4GB/6GB RAM variant comes with 64GB of internal storage. The device has dual 13MP + 5MP rear camera and a single 8MP camera. However, the 6GB RAM variant comes with a dual 16MP + 5MP rear camera and 16MP front-facing camera.

Honor 9 Lite

Honor 9 Lite is also a smartphone with some pretty decent specs compared to its price. Unfortunately, it does slightly go above the 15,000 Rupees depending on the variant you’re going for. Nonetheless, it’s still a great device at this price point and worth checking out.

Some of its specifications includes a 5.65-inch bezel-less 1080p display with no notch (18:9 aspect ratio), a Kirin 658 chipset clocked at 2.36GHz, 4 cameras in total and a moderate 3,000mAh battery capacity.

The device comes in two variants; a 3GB or 4GB RAM version with 32GB of internal storage and a bigger 4GB RAM version that comes with 64GB of internal storage. Both of which can be expanded further via the Second Hybrid SIM slot.
