Meizu Zero is Official , First Smartphone with no Physical Buttons
As we patiently await the unveiling of the Vivo APEX 2019 smartphone tomorrow January 24, Meizu, on the other hand, has made a shocking revelation. They want to steal the show tomorrow by unleashing a new smartphone tomorrow. This time – it is a “holeless” phone. First holeless smartphone ever produced by any phone company. Some people might think that it is not real. Well, it is real.
We are going to see another monster tomorrow in form of phone. Another wonderful innovation from Meizu. Note that a holeless phone does not refer to a phone without a punch whole selfie camera. When we talk about a holeless phone, we are talking about a phone without a USB port, no headphone jack, no openings into the phone body.
What that means is that we should expect a phone with a smooth body that is unique. Linking the phone with a wireless charging won’t be different if compared with the way people use there phones today (with wireless headphones, cloud data syncing and whatnot).
As per the specs, the Meizu Zero boasts a 5.99-inch AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 20MP selfie camera. There’s a 12MP + 20MP dual camera (consisting of the Sony IMX 380 and IMX 350 AI sensors) while on the front there’s a 20MP selfie camera. There’s a Snapdragon 845 to power the Zero.
It is not yet known if the loudspeaker grill, earpiece and hardware buttons count as “holes”. But with the look of things, it seems that the phone might not have buttons but will rather use pop up selfie camera. We await what happens tomorrow as events unfold itself.
