Samsung recently launched three new smartphones; Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10e and in this post, I will be showing you how to Hide Samsung Galaxy S10 Front Camera Cutout. The most notable display change we’ve seen in recent times was the Change in an aspect ratio which went from 18:9 to 19:9.

it’s Either they use a notch, which we’ve seen a lot or they use some kind of a pop-up camera – motorised, manual or even sliders. However, Samsung decided to go with the punch-hole camera which takes up just a small portion of the smart phone display at the top right corner. While this was well received as a welcome development, one of the Question people are beginning to as was how to hide punch hole.

For the notch, we know there is always an option in the settings menu which makes both the left and right side of the notch go black, bringing everything that was on both sides down a little bit. We were a little bit curious about how Samsung would handle this or if there was an option for it in the settings menu to begin it. Well, it seems there is indeed an option for it in the Settings Menu and we will be showing you how it is done in this tutorial.

How To Hide Samsung Galaxy S10 Front Camera Cutout

Hiding the front camera Cutout on your Samsung Galaxy S10 is very easy and you don’t need a third party app for it. What Samsung has done with the option in the settings menu is to paint a black line the size of the punch -hole camera all the way across the top of the screen and bringing the status bar down below the line. In a nutshell, it simply changes the aspect ratio from 19:9 to 18:9 and to do that on your Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus or S10e, simply follow the steps below.

Hide Samsung Galaxy S10 Front Camera Cutout

  1. Unlock your device and Access the Settings Menu by Clicking on the Settings App or Swipe down your notification panel and Click on on the Gear icon.
  2. Once you get to the Settings Menu, Click on Display and Select Full-Screen Apps.
  3. This is where you see the option to “Hide Front Camera”. Simply Toggle it Off and immediately you do that, the backline/tap covers the top portion of the display.

One thing I like about this is that you can still hide the front camera and have Apps Open in full-screen mode by choosing the apps you want to open in full-screen mode even when you’ve hidden the front camera. So even when you’ve hidden the front camera and Launch a game, it opens in full screen (19:9) instead of the smaller screen (18:9).
