Huawei P30 & P30 Pro coming on the 26th of March

According to the yearly trend of Huawei, the company releases two flagships yearly. The P series is released at the beginning of the year while the Mate series is released late in the year.

It means that we should expect a flagship from the P series since we are still in the early stage of the year. Well, Huawei has confirmed that they will be releasing Huawei P30 at the end of next month.

The announcement came with a short video. The video shows a lot of photos that were taken in different locations in Paris like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Arc De Triomphe.

The video reveals that the flagship will be coming with a good camera. And it is likely that the camera will be better than the 3x zoom that the P20 Pro came with. We think that the P30 might come with a wide-angle camera. Just like the one that was introduced in the Mate 20 line. Because it seems that the photos displayed in the video were taken with a wide-angle camera.

The P20 Pro came with a 40MP main camera, a 20MP monochrome camera and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom last year. And Huawei was hailed for such impressive camera. With the main camera, you can take nice low light photos and detailed zooms with the telephoto camera.

We think that the P30 is an upgraded version of the P20 Pro. We believe that the camera will still be top notch and one of the selling points of the device. It might still come with the same chip – Kirin 980 processor which is the same in the P20 Pro. It might feature the same wide-angle camera. The device will likely come with the same  4,000mAh battery capacity.

But we are not sure yet if the P30 will come with the “punch hole” display which is being used by the company in the Nova line up. Maybe if the company will feature notch again that comes with face recognition just like in the Mate 20 Pro. We hope to get more update about the device on 26th March.
