LG Announces 3 Mid-range Smartphones -LG Q60, K50 & K40
As we wait for the mobile world conference event in a few days’ time, we will be expecting top phone companies to unveil their flagship phones during the event. LG is among the companies that will be participating in the conference. The company will be launching flagship phones during the event. But even as we await the event, the company have released three midrange devices today – Q60, K50 and K40.
All the three phones came with octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0GHz. We don’t know the exact chip that the phones came with yet.
The Q60 came with a 6.26 -inches HD+ display with 720 x 1520-pixel resolution. The device comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded with microSD. The device features a 16MP main shooter at the back and another 2MP depth sensor and 5MP ultra – wide angle lens. There is a 13MP camera on the notch and the battery capacity is just 3,500mAh.
The LG K50 features the same 6.26 -inches HD+ display. But it came with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded with a microSD. The K50 did not come with the ultra-wide-angle lens. But it features a 13MP camera which is aided by a 2MP depth sensor. It still has the same 13MP front facing a camera and 3,500mAh battery.
The K40 is the cheapest model and comes with a 5.7 – inch display panel with 720 x 1440 resolution but no notch. The memory is just 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The back features 16MP camera while the front host an 8MP sensor with LED light for better low – light selfies. The battery capacity is just 3,000mAh.
All the three phones came with a rare feature for such asking price – DTS:X 3D surround with headphones plugged in and comply with the MIL-STD 810G military standard. All of them came with a dedicated Google assistant button.
The three phones will be shown at the LG booth during the MWC event between February 25 and 28. LG has not revealed the price of the phones yet.
