Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is a new smartphone from Samsung that debuted alongside the trio of Samsung Galaxy Phones and yes, its name is “Samsung Galaxy S10 5G” and yes, it comes with next-gen 5G Capabilities. Asides from having 5G connectivity which is evident from the name, it also has a bigger display (bigger than the S10+), bigger battery (bigger than the S10+) and also has more cameras, 6 in total to be precise. Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Design And Display
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has the same Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on both the display at the front and at the back. The display itself moves up to 6.7-inch in size. It still uses an HDR10+ Dynamic AMOLED with a 1440p+ screen resolution, a 502ppi and a 19:9 aspect ratio with a dual punch-hole camera at the top right.
There is also an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor underneath the display. At the back is a quad camera setup with an LED flash. Thanks to the massive battery, this device weighs 198 grams and measures 7.9mm in thickness. The only colour available for now is prism White.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Camera Review
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has the same camera like the S10. However, the front and back go an extra time of flight (TOF camera). The triple rear camera setup of 12MP + 12MP + 16MP with an f/1.5-2.4, f/2.4 and f/2.2 aperture respectively got an additional TOF camera. The 10MP selfie camera at the front is also joined by a TOF camera. Both the front facing and rear facing cameras are equipped with auto HDR and dual video recording. While the rear camera can record 4k, 1080p and 720p videos at 60, 240 and 960fps, the selfie camera can only record 4k and 1080p videos at 30fps.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Hardware and Software
Like the other Samsung Galaxy devices, there are two versions available here depending on the market. One has a Snapdragon 855 SoC on board which is a 7nm based chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz accompanied by an Adreno 640 GPU, while The other has a Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC; an 8nm based chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz, paired with a Mali-G76 MP12 GPU. Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has only one configuration which is the one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This device has a Single Sim Slot and no MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. Just like the rest, it will run Samsung’s One UI out of the box which is based on Android 9.0 Pie.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has the biggest battery of them all – 4,500mAh battery – and also the fastest fast charging with a 25W fast charging which compatible with USB PD 3.0. It also has a 15W wireless charging and a 9W output for the reverse wireless charging. It also has dual 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, FM radio, Heart rate sensor, Samsung DeX and a USB Type-C port with support for USB On The Go. It also retains the 3.5mm jack which comes with Dolby Atmos/AKG sound.
