How to Watch the A Galaxy Event and Things to Expect (Galaxy A80 and A60)

Samsung will launch some Galaxy A smartphones today, April 10, at 12 PM GMT. The company will soon unveil the newest iterations to its Galaxy A series at 3 exciting events which are held around the world.

These events are to be held in Bangkok, Milan, and São Paolo, where the latest Galaxy A series of mobile devices will be introduced.

The Galaxy A90 might steal the show, though it will be called “Galaxy A80”. The other smartphone that is missing from the lineup is the Galaxy A60, and there has been a decent amount of leaks on the phone, also.

The latest unofficial renders reveal the Galaxy A80 will sport a wild design, combining a slider with a rotating camera. This will enable the rear camera to flip around when you want to shoot selfie photos. It is a dual camera, which comprises 48MP and 8MP shooters, along with maybe a ToF sensor. This setup ensures that the 6.7” AMOLED screen is devoid of notches, of holes.

The Galaxy A80 should come with a 3700-mAh non-removable battery, which has the same 25-watt fast charging that is featured in the Galaxy A70 as well as the Galaxy S10 5G.

Thanks to TENAA, we have got a better overview of the specs the Galaxy A60 provides. The handset will have a smaller size and will sport a 6.3” AMOLED display, along with a 32-megapixel front-facing selfie camera inside a punch hole. The triple rear camera setup consists of 16MP, 8MP, and 5MP units.

The chipset, which might be an Exynos, will feature 2 big CPU cores and 6 small ones, which work with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of built-in storage. The Galaxy A60 will pack a 3410-mAh capacity, but it is not clear if it will have fast-charge support.

Though the Samsung Galaxy A90 will offer in-display fingerprint reader, the A60 will come with a rear-mounted reader. (Though there were early reports to the contrary.)

If you won’t be able to attend the event in person, Samsung has provided live streaming coverage of the Bangkok event as it unfolds. Simply tune in to any of the below links below at 12 PM GMT and enjoy the Era of Live!
