Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Book S, along with the Galaxy Note10 duo. The Books S, which is an ultra-thin and lightweight computer, is coming as the successor to the Galaxy Book 2 which was released last year. The latest laptop is running the Snapdragon 855 platform and will boot Windows 10 OS, so you can enjoy full-fledged PC experience.

The Samsung Galaxy Book S sports a 13.3-inch Full HD touchscreen and gets a Snapdragon 855 chipset that’s combined with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM as well as up to 512GB of ROM. This storage option offers support for microSD cards (as much as 1TB).

The notebook packs a 42Wh battery, which guarantees you up to 23 hours of video playback time, according to the maker. This indicates under normal usage, it can probably last throughout the day on a single charge.

The PC provides support for the Quick Charge 2.0, along with Power Delivery 2.0 standards. The Books S does not need to rely on Wi-Fi every time because it has support for LTE Cat.18 cellular connection. But you will have to depend on the single USB-C port because there are no other interfaces available.

As regards security, the laptop has a fingerprint reader that supports Windows’ Hello option.

All these features and capabilities are enclosed in a premium anodized aluminium-clad shell, which weighs 960g gram. The machine is also remarkably thin as it measures just 11.8 millimetres in height.

In the multimedia section, Samsung has included AKG-branded loudspeakers as well as Dolby Atmos tuning in the notebook.

The Samsung Galaxy Book S is expected to arrive in two colours (Earthy Gold and Mercury Gray) this fall in some markets.
