TECNO Pouvoir 3 Vs. Pouvoir 3 Plus : What is the Difference?

Tecno Pouvoir line just got a refresh recently with three new devices added to the family. These devices include the Tecno Pouvoir 3, Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus and Tecno Pouvoir 3 Air.

The most prominent of these devices are the Pouvoir 3 and Pouvoir 3 Plus. Here, we will be taking a look at the differences as well as similarities between these two devices.

Without further ado, let’s get started.

When it comes to the design of both devices, they are both made of plastic. Tecno Pouvoir 3 has a single rear camera while the Pouvoir 3 Plus has an additional 2 making it 3.

Both devices also have an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor for biometric unlock.

Turning over to the front, the pouvoir 3 has a 6.2-inch IPS display while the Tecno Pouvoir 3 plus has a slightly bigger 6.35-inch which is AMOLED in nature. Both of them have a notch housing the front-facing camera.

The notch on the Tecno Pouvoir 3 is a bathtub one while the Pouvoir 3 Plus has a more appealing waterdrop notch. Both still have a chin of course with a few bezels at the sides.

As expected, both devices are rocking a dual SIM card slot with a dedicated MicroSD slot for the addition of more storage. Both devices also have similar colour options to choose from which includes Gold, Black and Purple.

TECNO Pouvoir 3 Plus Vs. Pouvoir 3 – Hardware & Software

Tecno Pouvoir 3 is housing the slightly less powerful Mediatek MT6739 SoC which has an Octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with a PowerVR GE8100 GPU while the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus has a slightly more powerful Mediatek Helio P22 SoC which also has an octa-core processor but clocked at 2.0GHz with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

Tecno Pouvoir 3 has 2GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage while Pouvoir 3 Plus has two storage options; 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage or 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage.

Both devices here run the custom Tecno’s HiOS Skin. However, the Skin will be covering Android 8.1 Oreo on the Tecno Pouvoir 3 and Android 9.0 Pie on the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus.

TECNO Pouvoir 3 Vs. Pouvoir 3 Plus-The Camera

Tecno Pouvoir 3 has just one rear camera; a single 13MP shooter with an LED flash. Pouvoir 3 Plus on the other hand also has a 13MP main camera at the back but is joined by a secondary 5MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor camera.

It has four LED (Quad-LED) flash for low light photography. Both device cameras are packed with features like HDR, panorama, autofocus and more.

In the selfie department, Tecno Pouvoir 3 features a 13MP lens while the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus makes do with just an 8MP camera which can also be used for face unlock. Both selfie cameras can shoot 720p videos at 30fps.

Battery and Connectivity

A 5,000mAh and 6,000mAh powers the Tecno Pouvoir 3 and Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus respectively with no support for fast charging on both devices.

Both devices also come with 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, GPS, a 3.5mm jack and a microUSB port for charging the battery as well as transferring files.

TECNO Pouvoir 3 Vs. Pouvoir 3 Plus – Price

Tecno Pouvoir 3 goes for about N42,000 while the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus goes for about N46,000 – N50,000 depending on the memory and storage configuration.

    I need it too how much and where can I get it am madly in love with it pouvoir 3 plus am using pouroir 3 air but the camera is bad I don’t like the camera
