Infinix Hot 8 has a very subtle waterdrop notch to house the front-facing camera while the spark 3 pro has a bathtub notch for its own front-facing camera.

Also, the chin on the Infinix Hot 8 is also quite smaller compared to the one on the spark 3 Pro.

Infinix Hot 8 Vs Tecno Spark 3 Pro -Performance

Tecno Spark 3 Pro has a Mediatek Helio A22 (MT6761) SoC which has a Quad-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. This is paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU  and hooked up to 2GB of RAM for apps to run smoothly.

There is also a 32GB of inbuilt storage along with a microSD card slot that can accommodate another 32GB of external storage.

Infinix Hot 8 has two variants. One has the same Mediatek Helio A22 SoC as found on the Tecno Spark 3 Pro with the same memory setup; 2GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage.

The other variant of the Hot 8 has a Mediatek Helio P22 (MT6762) SoC which has an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. This variant has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Both variants have a microSD card slot for up to 256GB additional storage.

Infinix Hot 8 has a total of 4 cameras, three of which are placed at the back. Those three cameras consist of a 13MP main camera, a secondary 2MP depth sensor camera and a QVGA low light sensor. The rear camera is equipped with a Quad-LED flash, HDR, panorama and can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

Tecno Spark 3 Pro has only two cameras on its back which is also the 13MP + 2MP camera. Both devices also have the same 8MP selfie camera which can also be used for faceID.

They also have 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi Direct, WiFi hotspot, FM radio, GPS, a 3.5mm jack and a micro-USB port which can be used for file transfer and charging. It also supports USB on the Go.

 Price and Conclusion

The Infinix Hot 8 and the Spark 3 Pro are priced about N36,000-N37,000 Naira in Nigeria.

So judging from the specs of both devices, the Infinix has an overall better battery life compared to the Spark 3 Pro. The Spark 3 Pro supports all the major 4G Networks in Nigeria while the Hot 8 doesn’t support the Glo 4G Band

In terms of camera, they both shoot decent images.

If you are a heavy user, the Infinix will definitely last up to a day of heavy use and might be a better device here, that is if you can live without the Glo 4G band.

But if you are the types that use Glo 4G for all your internet surfing, it is advisable you go with the Spark 3 Pro.

So if you are to buy one of these two phones, which one will it be and why?
