Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro launched with 120Hz AMOLED displays and 108MP cameras

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched a new flagship series – the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro. The two T-models are not direct replacements for the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro but rather a separate release under the T-series.

Xiaomi 11T Pro

Powering the Xiaomi 11T Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset that is also featured on the Mi 11 Pro. The 11T Pro is built around a 6.67″ AMOLED display with 1080p+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ support, and 1,000nits peak brightness.

In the camera department, the Xiaomi 11T Pro features a 108MP main camera with 2.1 µm pixels with 9-in-1 binning, an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera with a 120° FOV, and a 5MP tele-macro camera.

Xiaomi 11T Pro specs

The Xiaomi 11T Pro supports the company’s 120W HyperCharge for its 5,000 mAh battery capacity. A full charge with this wired charging system takes just 17 minutes while a 0-72% charge takes 10 minutes and is enough for 7 hours of video playback, 2 hours of recording 1080p video, and 5 hours of navigation. According to the tech giant, after 800 cycles which is just over 2 years of daily charging, the battery will retain 80% of its capacity. The 120W HyperCharge is out of the box and is not sold as a separate accessory which is great for users. However, there is no wireless charging support for the Xiaomi 11T Pro.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro comes in White, Blue, and Black body colours. Its starting price is €650 for the base configuration (8GB/128GB), the 8GB/256GB model costs €700 while the 12GB/256GB goes for €750. The base model is available for €600 if you buy within the first 24 hours from AliExpress, Amazon, Mi.com, and other accredited retailers.

Xiaomi 11T

The Xiaomi 11T is built around the same 6.67″ AMOLED display as its Pro sibling. It also has a camera module that consists of a 108MP + 8MP + 5MP setup. The chipset is one area where it differs, as it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra chipset built on a 6nm process technology.

Xiaomi 11T

The Xiaomi 11T packs a 5,000 mAh battery capacity and supports a 67W fast wired charging system that achieves a full charge in 36 minutes. The smartphone starts at €500 for the base model (128GB). The 256GB model retails for €550. According to the Chinese company, the 11T and 11T Pro will receive 3 Android upgrades and 4 years worth of security patches.
