We have great news for all POCO fans worldwide, the Poco F2 Pro is finally making its long-awaited debut on May 12th in Spain.
This is according to a launch invite sent by the company to the Spanish media. According to a reliable source, the smartphone will retail at EUR 570 (128GB). Body colour options are Purple, Grey, White and Blue.
Ahead of its launch, the smartphone was listed on a popular Chinese e-commerce website known as Gearbest and its design is identical to the Redmi K30 Pro. This has made a lot of pundits believe that the Poco F2 Pro will just be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro. Judging by that, we can assume the Poco F2 Pro to sport similar specs and features of the Redmi K30 Pro.
The Redmi K30 Pro is built around a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, HDR10 support, 1,200 nits brightness, 180Hz touch response rate and 60Hz refresh rate. It makes uses of a pop-up mechanism for its 20MP selfie camera. The rear camera module consists of a 64MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide angle lens, a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
Being a flagship device, it is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G modem. The RAM capacity is 8GB which is paired with the 256GB storage. Battery capacity is 4,700 mAh with a 33W wired fast charging support.
We still aren’t sure if the listed on the e-commerce website is true, that the Poco F2 Pro is just a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro. The launch event is just five days, all will be confirmed on the 12th of May 2020. So stay tuned.
