Infinix Mobility has announced its latest Hot smartphone – The Infinix Hot 9. The newest member of the Hot series succeeds last year’s Hot 8 and comes with upgraded specs and features.
The screen remains unchanged from its predecessor, as it sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. Instead of the waterdrop notch, the Hot 9 features a punch-hole which is located at the top left-hand side of the display. The punch-hole is home to an 8MP selfie camera with LED flash.
At the back of the Infinix Hot 9 is a module which features four cameras and three LED flash. The cameras are a 16MP main sensor, a 2MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a VGA AI dedicated sensor.
Hardware-wise, the smartphone features the MediaTek Helio A25 SoC with 1.8GHz Octa-core CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The chipset is laced with a 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Software-wise, the Hot 9 runs on Google’s Android 10 operating system with Infinix XOS 6.0 Dolphin.
The Infinix Hot 9 packs a gigantic 5,000 mAh battery capacity. Its dual-SIM card slot is 4G VoLTE capable. The rear-mounted fingerprint reader and Face ID are the two biometric security feature available on the device. Another cool feature is the DTS Audio Technology for better audio output.
The smartphone is currently available in Indonesia for 1,899,000 Indonesian Rupiah. It is expected to be available in other regions/countries in the coming months.
