Koobee F2 Plus was launched as the company’s flagship smartphone of the year. It’s also Koobee’s first smartphone with the trendy notched screen.

The device is also powerful on the inside, housing the Helio P23 chip with 6GB of RAM. The F series is known for its camera and the F2 Plus comes with twice the fun.

Design And Display

The F2 Plus sports an aluminium alloy overall unibody with curved sides and edges that enables a perfect grip. It also reflects light beautifully as well.

There’s a Metallic foundation at the top middle that houses dual rear camera and a fingerprint scanner underneath. Furthermore, it measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 168g overall.

The first thing you’d notice when you turn to the front is the trendy notched display with its 19:9 aspect ratio screen. Of course, just like most Android notched smartphones, there’s a bottom chin.

Nonetheless, it has a tall 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. This has a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and 402 pixels per inch density offering immersive visuals. It also stretches up to 80% screen-to-body ratio.

The Helio P23 chip does the number crunching here and comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.5GHz tops for improved performance. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-G71 MP2 graphics card does the trick as well.

In terms of RAM, it packs the standard 4GB RAM space ready to multitask through all your apps and files. While the storage space is pegged at 64GB. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box with the latest Dido OS 8.0 on top.

In the camera department, it’s equipped with dual 16MP + 16MP rear shooters just like the F1, for all your photography needs. There’s another 16MP selfie shooter to handle all your selfies.

The F2 Plus supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack with adapter, USB TypeC, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.

Battery, Price And Availability

The Koobee F2 Plus is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3300mAh battery with fast charging technology. Koobee F2 Plus will be available on shopping stores, starting from $299 to $349, that’s about (N100,000 – N120,000).
