LEAGOO S11 Specs Review and Price

Leagoo S11 is a new device from LEAGOO and a successor to the previous S10 smartphone from the smartphone maker. It is rocking a 6.3-inch notched display with a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset at its heart.

This is coupled with 4GB of RAM and, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for more storage. It also has a 3,300mAh battery, dual rear cameras, single front-facing camera and runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Let’s see what else the LEAGOO S11 is bringing to the table.

LEAGOO S11 Design And Display

In order to keep the price low here, LEAGOO opted for Plastic for the build of the device which looks good in Red, Black and Blue – the only colours the device comes in. As for the display, it is rocking a huge 6.3-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, small bezels all around and a small waterdrop notch up top housing the front-facing camera.

At the back which is made of plastic is the dual rear cameras, LED flash and a fingerprint sensor for biometric unlock and authentication.

Overall, the device measures 8.5mm in thickness and weighs just 174grams. It also uses a Hybrid SIM card which means the second SIM card slot doubles as a microSD card for additional storage.

LEAGOO S11 Camera Review

There is a dual rear camera setup on this device comprising of a 12MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 2MP depth sensor for depth Sensing in portrait mode shots. It also has a dual-LED flash for low light shots, Auto Focus and can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. The front-facing camera tucked in the notch for selfies is an 8MP shooter with am f/2.0 aperture.

Hardware and Software

Inside the LEAGOO S11 is the Mediatek Helio P22 SoC which has an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz alongside a PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics as well as gaming. This is hooked up to 4GB of RAM to cater for all multitasking needs and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, depending on the one you get for files.

Storage can be expanded further through the second SIM card slot which also doubles as a microSD card slot. As expected of a 2019 smartphone, it runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

Battery and Connectivity

The battery on the LEAGOO S11 is rated at 3,300mAh which should be enough to get you through a day use on normal usage. Unfortunately, there is no word on fast charging here. However, it does have 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm jack and a USB Type-C port for charging and file transfer.

LEAGOO S11 Price and Availability

LEAGOO S11 has a starting price of $139.99 for the based version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, doubling the storage (4GB/128GB) will cost a bit more. There is also a discount on the device that slashes the price down to $119.99 as at the time of writing this on the LEAGOO website but there is no word on how long this will last.
