OnePlus are officially into the smartwatch business after years of keeping us waiting. The new OnePlus Watch is built around a sleek round stainless steel body with a 1.39″ OLED panel. The display features a 326 pixel per inch resolution with sapphire glass protection.
The right side of the OnePlus Watch features two buttons for tactile control. The Watch offers tracking for over 100 sporting activities. It can also track your heart rate, stress monitoring and blood oxygen saturation. For swimming, it has an IP68 water & dust resistant rating and 5ATM.
The smartwatch has a built-in GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The memory configuration is 1GB/4GB with 2GB of storage available to the user. The software department is handled by RTOS with OnePlus’ Watch OS on top. You’ll be able to take a hands-free call, control music playback and many other interactions with the UI.
The battery capability is two weeks as advertised by OnePlus. The company’s Warp Charge tech is used here with a 20 minutes charge guarantying you a week’s worth of normal usage.
The OnePlus Watch comes in a single 46mm size and is available in Black and Silver colours. First sales are scheduled for April 14 with retail pricing of $159/€159/INR16,999. A Cobalt limited edition with golden hue will debut later in the year.
