Apple today September 10, announced their next-generation iPhone – the iPhone 11. This year’s edition comes with quite a lot of innovations-compared to last year’s iPhone X.
The iPhone 11 features precision design and display. Its front and back glass is sandwiched with aluminium 7000 series frames. Its Liquid Retina display measures 6.1-inch in size and features Truetone and wide colour support.
The phone is available on Colors Black, Yellow, Blue, Coral, White and Red stunning colours. The iPhone 11 comes with a more secure Face ID that’s about 30% faster and covers more angles.
The device comes with arguably the fastest chip in a smartphone – A13 Bionic. The chip offers 20% faster CPU and GPU performance than the A12 Bionic.
This is paired with the newest iOS 13 to enable an all-day battery life for iPhone 11. The OS introduces a whole new look, which features Sign-in with Apple, Dark Mode and a new maps experience. The sign-in with Apple feature is a private way to sign in to both apps and websites.
The camera department sees the iPhone 11 with dual rear and front camera. The dual rear camera packs a 12MP f/1.8 wide sensor and 12MP f/2.4 ultrawide sensor. The camera is able to record 4K videos at 20, 30 and 60fps. While the front dual camera which is located at the notch features a 12MP sensor and TOF 3D camera. Using the front camera, 4K videos can be recorded in only 30fps.
Pre-order starts on Friday, September 13. The smartphone will be available in stores from Friday, September 20. It will be available in three models; 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The starting price is set at just $699 (N253,387).
