Oppo has added a new smartphone to the F-series family – Oppo F15. The new budget device debuts in India and is said to be identical with the Oppo A91 that was launched last month in China.
The Oppo F15 comes with an impressive 6.4-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. Underneath its display is the fingerprint reader with the ability to unlock the screen in 0.32 seconds. While the 16MP selfie camera is housed inside the waterdrop notch. Protecting the display of the Oppo phone is Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
At the back of the phone, we have a four-camera setup. It consists of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera with 119° Field of View, a 2MP monochrome sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The ultrawide camera has the ability to take macro shots 3-8cm from a subject.
Running inside the Oppo F15 is the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC. The chipset is coupled with an 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Additional storage is possible via the microSD slot up to 256GB. The phone will appeal to gamers as it comes with preloaded gaming features like In-Game Noise Canceling, Gaming Voice Changer and Game Boost 2.0. The operating system of the Oppo phone is the Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 UI. For power, the device features a 4,000 mAh battery capacity and supports 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.
The Oppo F15 can be pre-ordered via Flipkart and Amazon India. Sales will begin from January 24 at INR 19,990/$282. Body colour options available are Lightning Black and Unicorn White.
