Samsung just the wrap off one of their most talked about smartphones this past month – Samsung Galaxy A8s – narrowing clinching the title of the very first smartphone with a punch hole camera which is perhaps the highlight if the device. Samsung Galaxy A8s Design And Display
The Samsung Galaxy A8s features a massive 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 screen resolution, a pixel per inch density of 403 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. At the bottom of the smartphone is a little chin and at the top is no notch whatsoever.
At the top left side of the screen is a screen hole, first of its kind, which house the single front facing camera for selfies. Turning over to the back which is made of glass, same with the front with aluminium frame all around, is the triple camera setup at the top left corner, a flashlight underneath and fingerprint sensor at the usual spot. Overall, the device weighs 173 grams, measures 7.4mm thickness and come in Gradient colours (Blue, Gray and Green).

On this device are four cameras in total, however, they are not spread evenly. The camera hole in the front houses just one 24MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and HDR, capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
For the rear, we have a triple camera setup; a main 24MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture and PDAF, a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and autofocus

Taking care of things on the Inside is the capable Snapdragon 710 chipset with 8 cores and a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz. For gaming, it has an Adreno 616 GPU. The device comes with two RAM option which are 6GB of RAM or 8GB of RAM, both of which come with an inbuilt storage of 128GB and a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 512GB. Talking about slots, this device comes in two variants – A single nano SIM slot variant or a dual nano SIM variant. As for the Operating System, it boots the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with support for Samsung Pay.
