Sony Xperia 1 Design And Display
Sony Xperia 1 has a tall 6.5-inch 4k OLED display with a new 21:9 aspect, first in a smartphone. The display which is covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 also has HDR10. The back as well is also covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 with an aluminium frame all around. Not notch cut out on the display as the 21:9 has more than enough at the top for the front-facing camera.
At the back is the Triple camera setup with an LED flash. There is no fingerprint sensor at the back as this device uses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor – it stands alone and doesn’t double as the power button. It is also IP65/IP68 certified. Overall, the device weighs 180grams and measures 8.2mm when it comes to thickness. Colour options available are Black, White, Gray and Purple. It has a single SIM Variant and a Hybrid Dual SIM variant.
