Tecno F2 LTE Specs and Price

TECNO F2 LTE is a budget-friendly device and an updated version of the TECNO F2 smartphone that was introduced a couple of months ago. The F2 is known to be for extremely light users or first-time Android users.

The F2 LTE follows that trend as well, and as the name suggests, the device now comes with 4G LTE connectivity. We can also sport a fingerprint scanner at first glance, runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition and was built for speed.

DESIGN

One of the major upgrades here in terms of design is the fingerprint scanner, the F2 doesn’t come with that. The LTE version also sports dual curved antenna lines, one at the top and another at the bottom.

The rear camera is still in the usual position with the dual-LED flash sitting right beside it. When you turn the device to the side, you can see the volume keys and power button. It measures 9.5mm in thickness and is available in Black, Gold and Blue colours.

DISPLAY

The screen is still the same, a stunning small screen that brings your movies and games to life. Even though it dishes out a 16:9 aspect ratio and has physical navigation buttons, the bezels have been reduced obviously.

The 5-inch FWVGA IPS capacitive touchscreen might not be the best screen we’ve seen in a while, but it sure displays nice visuals. The screen boasts an 854 x 480 pixels resolution which ensures a vivid display.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

It houses a MediaTek chip which was built on a 28nm process technology and 64-bit CPU architecture. The Quad-core processor on this chip clocks at the normal speed of 1.3GHz. A Mali-400 MP2 graphics card reigns in the graphics department.

Since it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition, TECNO still kept the 1GB of RAM which should help multitask through the Go apps. 8GB is still available to accommodate all your files and you can upgrade up to 32GB using a memory card as well.

CAMERA

The 5MP rear camera still comes with a dual-LED flash, this helps in taking good photographs even in low-light environments. The pixels on the selfie camera have been bumped up to a 5MP shooter, it comes with a front LED flash as well.

BATTERY

The TECNO F2 LTE is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 2400mAh battery with no fast charging technology.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

TECNO F2 LTE is available in shopping stores, starting from $79 to $99, that’s about (N25,000 – N35,000).
