Chinese phone maker Umidigi has launched an affordable mid-range smartphone codenamed Umidigi S5 Pro.
The new Umidigi S5 Pro comes in a more premium design with the 3D curved glass panel at the back as opposed to plastic.
The device is built around a 6.39″ AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. Underneath the display is a fingerprint reader for your biometric security.
The smartphone uses a pop-up mechanism for its 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera, this means the display is not disturbed either by a punch-hole or a notch.
At the back, there is a quad-camera module which comprises of a 48MP main lens, a 16MP ultrawide angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth lens. There is also a LED flash in the module.
Powering the Umidigi S5 Pro is a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset which features an Octa-core processor and ARM Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU.
The gaming-oriented chip is paired with a 6GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage. There is also a liquid cooling system which ensures a lag-free performance when gaming under high temperature.
The Umidigi smartphone packs a 4,680 mAh battery capacity and supports 18W fast wired charging. Other key features are NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and 4G VoLTE.
The smartphone is already listed on Aliexpress at a price tag of $333. It is available in Ocean Blue and Cosmic Black body colours.
