The Vivo NEX 3 is expected to arrive next month. Yesterday, the smartphone company posted what is regarded as a teaser video of the Vivo NEX 3 on Weibo. In this teaser video, the NEX 3 features a curved “waterfall” display, elevating camer a and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Today on Weibo, a new leak indicates the Vivo NEX 3 will feature a 64MP selfie camera and Vivo’s new 120W SuperFlash Charge.
No phone has featured the 120W SuperFlash Charge yet when Vivo first introduced the charging technology. It charged a 4000 mAh battery from 0% to 100% in just 13 minutes.
There are still some burning questions about this new technology such as the heat generated by the phone or adapter while charging. Also, will the overall number of charge cycles go down?
If this leak is true and the Vivo NEX 3 does feature the charging technology, we can have a real-life example to answer these questions.
Still, on the leak, the Vivo NEX 3 5G’s display features a 99.6% screen-to-body ratio, which is very impressive if true.
The device has a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset which shouldn’t be much of a surprise. The surprising one is a 6,400 mAh battery capacity, which further hints on the phone having a 120W SuperFlash Charge.
There is also a drawing showing the concept of the phone’s curved waterfall display and the design of the camera.
With the Vivo NEX 3 set to drop sometime in September, we won’t have to wait long enough before finding out its true specs and features.
